Saffron harveset season in Marand City

In terms of agricultural potential, Marand city is a suitable place for planting the valuable product of saffron.

Located in East Azarbaijan Provice, Marand is considered as the biggest suffron producers of north west of the country.

The city is the number one producer of the red gold, producing a yearly amount of 110 kilograms of Saffron.
